walking out of my apartment

catching a cab

attempting to tell the driver i need to go to the post office

using my documents that needed to be sent and my dictionary on my phone to verify the words

we both roll down our windows at the same time, it was like both having this ingenious idea together

he takes me to a different post office, on a street behind the one i am familiar with

the ladies there are incredible {i receive smiles that indicate today is going to be great}

i walk through the tool district [which i truly enjoy, something about all the tools, and metal that is comforting]

then i arrive at hana bank

i have to transfer money to the travel agent who is taking care of my visa for China

after

walk for awhile to a garage that inhabits a juice stand, with killer strawberry juice

these simple errands in the city and the process of completing them was an excellent way to start my morning

{to appreciate the small things will bring you joy}

you don’t seek it exactly, you just remember to keep this energy that encourages it, it goes beyond a positive outlook
